Today is going to be a great day for you. You will meet someone new, think up a new idea or discover a real connection with someone you do not know. Okay, so maybe those things will not happen, but astrological advice will state that it is possible for these things to happen.

Nothing is written in stone or Sanskrit that these are definite things that will happen. What you can count on is that astrology makes predictions based on the month you were born. Indian Vedic astrology is one area of astrology that many feel is the best astrology to be found.

Indian Vedic astrology is different than the Western zodiac used by most Americans. Western astrology has roughly the same constellations but they use a fixed rotation that has been constant since their inception in Ancient Greece. The Indian Vedic constellations allow for the earth and sun's rotation and the sun's path through the heavenly bodies. Over time, this live astrology has seen a shifting of twenty-two degrees in difference to the Western astrology.

Also called Hindu astrology, the celestial sequences that make up the constellations are divided into twelve equal parts. This is based on the three hundred and sixty degrees of the ecliptic. Each part of the ecliptic is called a sign. The signs themselves are given names based directly on the translation of the Greek names, such as "the bow" or "the ram."

In Hindu communities, the astrology sign plays heavily on how people think and what they do. Take for example a baby's name. It is based on the Jyotish (zodiac) sign under which he or she is born. They even believe that successful marriages and unions are based on compatible zodiac signs.

The zodiac sign plays a huge significance in every aspect of their lives. There are three branches of the Jyotisa (called the zodiac sign). These branches are Siddhanta, Samhita and Hora. Each of the three covers some part of the follower's life.

Indian Vedic astrology is a very interesting subject that deserves more than just a mere article. It has a rich and colorful history that is not easily summed up in a few paragraphs. If you are interested in learning more about this branch of astrology, then there is a website that may be able to help you out. That website is "Indian Vedic Astrology". The website offers personalized readings for your career or your romantic side. Go to the website and enjoy the information you will find.
